Through Financial Literacy Education, HAS extends its mission beyond home affordability, helping students build confidence with money, credit and future choices.

For over 10 years, we've watched people come up against the same barrier when trying to buy a home: not a lack of ambition, but a lack of early knowledge about money, credit and how the system actually works.
Financial Literacy Education is a natural extension of that experience. Rather than only stepping in once someone is ready to buy, we want to help the next generation build the right knowledge and confidence much earlier.
Financial Literacy Education was co-founded by HAS CEO Beth Comino and Victoria Coster of Credit Fix Solutions. Drawing on real experience in home affordability, credit reporting and finance access, the program explains the key concepts young people need before adulthood across five core areas, in plain, practical language.
Understanding income, spending and how to plan ahead
How savings grow, and how interest works for and against you
What a credit score is and why it matters
The basics of borrowing and what it takes to buy property
Why super matters, even before your first job
FIT Solutions is delivered as a half day program for Year 10 students, run in schools by trained financial professionals. Through this initiative, HAS supports the next generation to grow up more confident about money, credit and the choices ahead of them.
